The Kettle Creek Battlefield Association, Inc. will safeguard the sacred land this battle was
fought upon as well as any discovered artifacts. By becoming a member you will help
maintain and preserve history. Membership will provide events designed for your
enrichment, exhibits, programs and interpretation support roots in the cause of liberty.

Preserving Our Liberty ...

The Kettle Creek Battlefield Association, Inc. has as its purpose to preserve, as living past,
the historical and cultural foundation of the community and nation utilizing the Kettle Creek
Battlefield and its history. As artifacts are discovered and walking trails established to
outline and to portray and teach America's future generations and help maintain the legacy
of this site.

Implementing our purpose ...

The Board of Directors is responsible for implementing the purpose of the non-profit
corporation through its officers and standing committees on site planning, education,
funding, land acquisition, publicity, and research.

Patriot Members  recognize that supporting KCBA’s work is essential to saveing the battlefield from further damage and from the denial of public access. Making the decision to be a Patriot Member of KCBA means that you are secure in your choice and eager to be involved with the ongoing development of the Kettle Creek Battlefield Park with support of your annual dues.

Members have made a commitment to align themselves in a unique and special way with the Kettle Creek Battlefield Association to procure and preserve the Kettle Creek Battlefield. They recognize that supporting KCBA’s work is essential to saveing the battlefield from further damage and from the denial of public access. Making the decision to be a Life Member of KCBA means that you are secure in your choice and eager to be involved with the ongoing development of the Kettle Creek Battlefield Park.

Recently, January 2014, 60 acres of land was purchased by your donations and life memberships. With this amount of local support in 2017 the KCBA was able to receive support from the American Battlefield Trust, Campaign 1776 and the Watson Brown Foundation and purchased an additional 180 acres.The land has been deeded to Wilkes County for maintenance and upkeep giving Wilkes County a total of 252 acres. KCBA continues to pursue acquireing all of the historic acreage of the Kettle Creek Battlefield which is identified to include  over 400 acres of historic property. Help KCBA continue the “good fight”.
